The family office investment firm that will look for equity stakes in individual-, family- and entrepreneur-owned companies across the Southeast. The firm, Weisiger Stone Badham & Co. is looking for equity stakes between $2 million and $20 million each in companies needing growth capital. Weisiger declines to disclose the size of the investment pool. He says the sweet spot will be investing in companies that generate $5 million to $75 million in annual revenue and up to $6 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. It will take either majority or minority stakes in those firms to help facilitate growth, aid in a management buyout or help transition the ownership to the next generation in a family. WSB intends to provide guidance to its portfolio companies but leave existing management teams in control.
