Prima Capital Fund is an offshore fund based in the British Virgin Islands. The Management Company is Trocadero Asset Management, Ltd. (B.V.I.). The Fund, which started operations April 1, 1993, is a growth oriented fund of hedge funds. It invests primarily in Long/Short Equity funds which may be complemented, at times, by other investment strategies.

The sub-manager of the Fund is Fundana SA, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Fundana has been an alternative investment advisor to Europe’s largest financial institutions, pension funds and high net worth individuals since 1993. Prima Capital Fund, denominated in US Dollars, Euros, Swiss Francs and British Pounds, is made up of a selection of 30 to 40 hedge fund managers with a focus on Long/Short Equity strategies.

Since its inception in April 1993, this flagship fund has focused on the Long/Short Equity strategy with a US bias, the most popular and important strategy in the hedge fund universe. It is one of the best performing funds of hedge funds in the industry.
